ICE continues to profile their targets by skin color and accents.
Black and brown skinned people are abducted off streets, out of their cars, and homes only to be either driven around for hours and abdanoned, or taken to a detention center. Some detention centers are government purchased abdandoned office complexes that are NOT designed to house hundreds of prisoners for days.
Detention centers are intentionally horrible because they want the prisoners to self-deport. They want them to wave the white flag and agree to leave the life they've known, and agree to go to a life they fear, just to escape their current imprisonment.
Activists have been alerting areas to ICE activity by blowing whistles.
Trump wants to make blowing a whistle to alert someone to ICE illegal.
We need to show Trump we object by wearing a whistle like MAGA used to wear the red hat.
We can show ICE we are activily fighting against them.
We can show our neighbors in crisis we are fighting for them.
If you were targeted by ICE, wouldn't you feel a bit safer if you saw a bunch of people wearing whistles when you were out?
The Whistle Effect is a way for ANYONE to get involved. It's for ALL of us, WE THE PEOPLE.
